Being the metro-media gluttons that we are, of course the Eye on Soaps staff does not limit itself to only daytime viewing, so why should we limit ourselves to daytime commentary?  In fact, we are ravenous primetime TV and movie fans, stage show fanatics and voracious readers.  It is to honor the other loves of our lives that we now offer the dark side of the Eye on Soaps staff for your consideration.  Taking the "soap" part out of the mix for this part of the commentary, we will here focus on such things as book and movie reviews, commentary on Prime Time TV, stage show and music reviews and other things that go bump in our nights.

It doesn't matter to us whether or not a show is on hiatus, currently airing or cancelled and relegated to syndication or memory.  We don't care if a movie has already gone to DVD, went straight to DVD or never even made it to VHS.  The books we review may be ones you have had on your shelf for years, dog-eared and re-read or they might be a new release.  This side of the site is about entertainment, pure and simple.  If we have something to say about it, it'll land here... where our eyes turn to the night...
